About Jassy

Born in Swansea, South Wales, UK, I moved to the USA in 1984. Driving is a passion and my current car, an ancient red convertible ("Scarlet") is a joy on the highway. Driving as fast as legally permissible, with the top down, listening to music, even when it's really too cold to do so, is one of my greatest pleasures.

Leisure time activities include activism around feminist and civil rights issues, a passionate interest in sustainable communities and Peak Oil, walking, reading, playing music really loudly, spending time with friends and family (for more details, see my blog), and playing the piano less often than I would like.
